Michelle Elaine Farley grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a middle-sized suburb on the outskirts of Cleveland. At an early age, she found escape from her reality through the books of Toni Morrison and Alice Walker. Inspired by the art of storytelling, she dedicated herself to learning the rules of writing so that she might upset them more fully and artistically. To this end, she earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and film production from Cleveland State University.  She earned a MFA in creative writing from LaJolla University. 

 

Michelle is the author of “Sugar for My Tea”, a collection of poems and thoughts. “Dudley Magnificent Presents: A Little Book of Joy”, is her debut children’s book.

 

Additionally, Michelle is the founder and Publisher of Lucid Hills Publications and the founder and senior copywriter at Farley Creative Co., a boutique creative copywriting agency.

Michelle is married to an amazing human, her husband, Erik. They have a one-year-old son and one angel baby girl in heaven. She is a yoga newbie and Pinterest fanatic. Her spirit animal is a Koala (there so many reasons why and so little time to explain). Lastly, she still believes that Good people outnumber the bad.
